I starting doing photography in high school and fell in love. In college, I had a professor who encouraged me to continue following my passion and I went on to study photography at the best art school in the country (School of the Art Institute of Chicago.)

Here is what makes me different:

I almost always shoot outside. The layers and the light you get from shooting outside always add to the magic. It ends up telling a beautiful story - one you couldn't have captured in a studio.

I'm able to quickly make everyone feel comfortable and create camaraderie. No one looks good in pictures where there are tight smiles and stiff body language. I'll make sure we are having fun and in those moments, we'll get the best candids imaginable.

Sessions usually last an hour. After our session, I will spend 2-4 hours cleaning up images in Photoshop. When my work is complete, I will send you all images. That's how it should be.

You should own all the rights to images of your likeness. (It's a pet peeve when I see photographers that stamp their names all over your photos, forcing you to buy expensive prints from them and only them.)
